Julia Epifania Basnage is a visual artist and graduate of Barnard College who currently works out of the Philadelphia area. Her work is primarily in relief and silkscreen printmaking, or any process where she can appreciate the tactile experience of the process; carving linoleum, pulling squeegees, and cutting paper are just as beloved aspects of her art as the final product, and she believes that no level or form of art should be divorced from play.
